The Final Countdown for an | Attack | before Iran goes Nuclear Russia begins loading Nuclear Fuel Rods in Bushehr Reactor on

Views

According to John Bolton, the former United Nations Ambassador for America appointed by the Bush White House, on Fox News reported on Friday, August 13, 2010 that Russia will begin loading fuel rods upon Iran’s Bushehr Reactor. If the United States or Israel does not attack Iran by that date, “it makes it essentially immune from attack by Israel, because once the rods are in the reactor an attack on the reactor risks spreading radiation in the air, or perhaps in the water of the Persian Gulf.”With the announcement by Sergei Novikov, a Russian spokesman for Rosatom, the Russian Energy State Nuclear Corporation, the state atomic agency to the Reuters, the international wire services on Thursday, August 12, with these words:

Sergei Novikov – “The fuel will be loaded on Aug 21.This is the start of the physical launch” of the reactor. From that moment the Bushehr plant will be officially considered a nuclear-energy installation and that Sergei Kiriyenko, the head of Rosatom will visit Bushehr Aug. 21 to conduct a ceremony for the event.”It is reported that “international diplomats are scrambling to head off the crisis.” In Israel, as the news went viral, for Israel’s diplomatic channels with the Obama’s administration in the United States of using persuasion and international sanctions trying to persuade Iran not to go nuclear have come to the end of the rope. As emphasized with great care, Bolton stated that any attack by Israel will have to be completed before any of the rods are installed into the nuclear installation. As stated:

John Bolton – “If they're going to do it that's the window that they have, otherwise as I said before, once the rods are in the reactor, if you attack the reactor you're going to open it up and radiation will escape at least into the atmosphere and possibly into the waters of the Persian Gulf. "So most people think that neither Israel nor the United States, come to that, would attack the reactor after it's been fueled. So if it’s going to happen in Bushehr it has to happen before the fuel rods go in."

It is not that Israel has not been on this road before, and history does have its precedence. It was in the year of 1981, that the Israeli’s attacked Saddam Hussein’s Osirak reactor outside Baghdad. It was again on September 2007, that Israel attacked a North Korean reactor that was secretly being built in Syria by North Korean nuclear construction and installation workers.

As has been historically noted, both of these international attacks were executed before the nuclear rods were placed within the reactors. The final countdown to becoming a nuclear armed statewill be only a matter of a short period of time after the normal operation of the reactor begins, according to Bolton. At that time,plutonium in a sufficient amount will be produced that can be used in a nuclear weapon. According to DEBKAfiles military sources as reported in the article titled, “Flap in Jerusalem over Aug. 21 activation of Iran's first reactor”;

DEBKAfiles – “The Bushehr reactor billed as a peaceful project is in fact integral to Iran's military programbecause the fuel rods powering it can also produce weapons-grade plutonium. Attached to the main plant too are a number of smaller facilities connected to theweapons program. An earlier report in the Atlantic magazine estimated that the chances of a military strike against Iran in the next 12 months are "better than 50%."It is the result of extensive research for the magazine by Middle East expert Jeffrey Goldberg.

After interviewing some 40 current and past Israeli decision makers and as many American and Arab officials, Goldberg expects Israel to launch an attack with the next few months, possibly supported by the US and UK. But that was before the rescheduled BusBusshehr launching. Bolton has since made a point of narrowing the window of months to days.

For over a decade, the Russians have been under a $1 billion operational contract with Iran to build this reactor. With the final plans to begin fueling the plant on August 21, all thenegotiation by the United States, Europe, the United Nations with the insistent pleas of Prime Ministers Ariel Sharon, Ehud Olmert and now Benyamin Netanyahu have been in vain.

The existential crisis for Israel has now reached the full cup of disaster. The Obama’s State Department strategy of negotiations with Iran and engaging the Russian leadership for cooperation to delay the operational debut of the plants opening by “not sending the Iranians fuel rods, not to insert the rods into the plant now opens up Iran’s ability to become independent in the production of plutonium which is reprocessed out of spent fuel rods.

It is believed that the Bushehr reactor project is being monitoredby the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), representing the United Nations as their nuclear watchdog. As expected the IAEA inspectors will also be there to watch the fuel-rod loading process after the official ceremonies. This has even come with the“promise in writing” of Iran to send back to Russia all the spent fuel rods for reprocessing with the assurance that they will not be used for plutonium production. Bolton weighed in on thisinternational charade of negotiations throughout the Bush and now the Obama administration.

According to Bolton, as he explained, allowing the building of a producing nuclear reactor in Iran has been “under what I believe is the mistaken theory that Iran is entitled to the peaceful use of nuclear energy. As quoted;

John Bolton – “I don't think Iran is entitled to that, or I don't think we ought to allow it to happen, because they're manifestly violating any number of obligations under thenon-proliferation treaty not to seek nuclear weapons. But this has been a hole in American policy for some number of years, and Iran and Russia are obviously exploiting it…I think this is a very delicate point, as I say, it closes off to the Israelis one possible target for pre-emptive military action.

 It has been the international expectation that Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu will be facing the most critical decision of his administration; to order a strike against Iran. To do so would take up to 100 Israeli jets armed to destroy numerous military nuclear weapons production facilities. This fact would make thenations of the earth to rail out against Israel and the United Nations to seek to sanctions and isolate Israel from the rest of the nations.

There are no promises that the American Obama administration will stand back and allow the strike to happen and if Israel fails, will cast all the blame upon the State of Israel, and not even follow up and support Israel with the immense American Aircraft Carrier flotilla of numerous aircraft carriers and their associated fleet that is prepared to do so in the Persian and Arabian Gulfs.

This strike has already been tried in the past as reported by BibleSearchers Reflections. It has also been reported that theSaudi Arabian government, so fears Iran becoming a nuclear state that she has given Israel a corridor in which to allow their jets to fly over Saudi airspace, though she had publically denied making those promises. It was reported on DEBKAfiles on August 12, 2010, that just prior to the announcement of Russian completing the project at Bushehr that Russian was blocking Israeli Northern Air Route with the article titled, “Russian S-300s in Abkhazia block possible Israeli Air Route to Iran”
